Most schools hold secondhand uniform sales. Alternatively you could try asking the school if you could put up an advertisement requesting donations of secondhand uniform. For cheap clothes shops try Primark (http://www.primark.co.uk/) and Tescos (http://www.clothingattesco.com/).
