Hello, are you involved with any organisations working with asylum seekers or refugees. If yes, ask someone who can ring the liverpool, if you leave in the North West or home office in Croydon. Ask them to ring on your behalf. You only need to provide your Home office reference number, and ask for your case owner. Once you have the name of your case owner, write a letter with the person who rang with you (with their heading paper, it seems to be better on the Home office's eyes), on that letter the person writing on your behalf will say tha tshe or he believe that you are a legacy case. Then wait for a letter from the home office a standard letter, the same they send saying that they have 450000 back logs, they will finish taking decisions by 2011. Then you just have to wait. In a meantime, try to see your MP (they sometimes very useful, on one of the last letter we received from a MP on our client behalf, it said that the Home Office has the duty to answer as soon as possible to an MP's letter. Some MP are influencable. I will give you a link where you can verified if your file is on consideration.
