Statelessness

Statelessness

Event Date:
Friday, 11 March 2011

Do you know of women who could be stateless? UNHCR and Asylum Aid are working on a research project on the issue of statelessness in the UK. The project will map the number, situation and profile of stateless people in the UK.

The research will also provide an analysis of relevant UK law, policy and practice relating to stateless people.

The aim is to produce detailed evidence which can be used to advocate for change in government policy, which can hopefully lead to positive outcomes for stateless people in the UK.

Do you know women who might fit into the remit of the research who would be willing to be interviewed, as well as to potentially have their case files reviewed where available?

If so, please click here. This short information sheet explains the project in more detail including exactly what constitutes a stateless person, as well as information on how the research will be used and what is required of the interviewee. It also includes a short referral form to fill in.

For more information, you can email or call Chris Nash or Lucy Gregg on 0207 354 9631 Ext: 221/222.
